Easter Basket 2022

With all there is to do at Easter, it's never too early to start getting set for it. After all, you'll need to figure out who to invite for Easter lunch, get the house decorated and line up Easter crafts to keep everyone occupied. And then there's the egg decorating—and hunt to plan.

But one of my favourite things to get excited about is putting together a cute Easter Basket for my little girl. It's kind of a new tradition, which we love. When it comes to curating her basket, I prefer to keep it simple, meaningful, and as sustainable as possible. The soft colours and renewal spring brings have made putting her baskets together one of my favourite parts of the year.

Normally, we try not put too much chocolate and sweets inside her basket, as I know she will get a few eggs for family and friends. Instead we choose spring time toys and clothes that she will be able to use again, stickers, books and a few others things.

This year, I have added the sweetest personalised bunny tag that I will be able to use every year. I even managed to pick up this bunny soft toy, gonk and a bunny cup a few months ago, which are perfect to add into her Easter basket.

So here's everything that I have included this year...

The main items that I have included this year are this sweet bunny tees from H&M. It is a short sleeve cotton jersey with a printed motif on the front with a narrow trim around the neckline. The sizing at H&M is amazing, but I thought that it would be best to try and size up as it is something that I know she will wear again especially over the summer with her favourite denim skirt. H&M always have great designs and their basic tees always wash up so well.

There are also a couple of craft kits in there too. My daughter absolutely loves her crafts and it will be a great way to keep her occupied during Easter weekend. I have included a Daffodil Wreath, Paint Your Own Eggs and Bunting Kit. I'm sure these activities will definitely keep her mind and little hands busy and we will then use them for decoration around the house.

It wouldn't be Easter without a crazy, over the top bonnet. So I have included a bonnet and a good few decorations in there too. I'm going to allow her to unleash her creative side and see what she comes up with. I have also added a set of head boppers in her basket too, these ones have tiny little carrots on the end of the boppers. They are really sweet and I know that my daughter will love them and get plenty of wear out of them.

What do you think of our Easter basket? Do you think our daughter will love it? What will you have in your Easter basket.
