Jurassic World Captivz Eggs: Dominion Edition

Playtime is more fun when there is an element of surprise. My daughter loves surprise toys and naturally gravitates towards them when given the opportunity.

So of course she couldn't wait to get her hands on the brand new Jurassic World Captivz Dominion Surprise Eggs from Character Toys. In anticipation of the new Jurassic World film, set to hit cinemas in June, we have received a range of dinosaurs eggs of varying sizes for review. We were kindly sent over a Jurassic World bundle that was full of brightly coloured eggs that we couldn't wait to hatch.

What are Jurassic World Captivz?

These Jurassic World Captivz Dominion Surprise Eggs are full of SLIMY surprises - yes thick, gloopy, slippery slime. You will also find a Pop N Lock Dinosaur from the new Jurassic Film. It's impossible to predict what dinosaur will pop out of each egg, but you just know that any dinosaur fan will be delighted to hatch a new friend.

We were kindly sent over a Jurassic World bundle that was full of brightly coloured eggs that we couldn't wait to hatch. There was a Jurassic World Captivz Dominion Surprise Egg and some Jurassic World Captivz Dominion Slime Eggs. The Dominion Edition collection features 18 dinosaurs in total. Combined with dinosaurs from the previous CAPTIVZ editions, children can unleash their inner collector by growing their own dinosaur army. So as you can see we had a lot of hatching to get through. There were so many to choose from, so where would you start? The biggest egg of them all, of course!

Jurassic World Captivz Dominion Surprise Egg.

So we started with the Jurassic World Captivz Dominion Surprise Egg which was full of SLIMY surprises including our very own Dinosaur from the new Jurassic World film. You can hatch your new dinosaur from their bright orange, reusable plastic egg which breaks into two parts. Inside you will find a Pop N Lock Dinosaur, Prehistoric Sand, Amber Gel, BioSyn Lab Slime, 6 Dinosaur Stickers, a Battle Token and a Collectors Guide.

There are three supersized exclusive to hatch in these Jurassic World Captivz Dominion Surprise Eggs that include a Barynyx, Pyroraptor or a Gigantosaurus. Each dinosaur is split into three separate Pop N Lock parts which are then hidden inside the Prehistoric Sand, BioSyn Lab Slime and the Amber Gel

You have to dig, slice and get slimy to find them. My daughter enjoyed playing with the slime and discovering a brand new dinosaur to add to her ever growing collection. This time she hatched a Pryoraptor and she named her Mrs Raptor!

Let The Battle Begin.

With every hatch, you will be able to challenge friends to battle.  Each players chooses which dinosaur to put forward and places them to face each other. Player one decided which stat to use to play based on their battle token attributes - killer rating, intelligence, height, or weight. Player two must play with the same stat - whoever has the strongest, heaviest or highest score wins and takes their opponents battle rank points that can be found in the collectors guide. The bigger the dinosaur army, the better chances littles ones have of defeating their opponents.

Jurassic World Captivz Dominion Slime Eggs.

Jurassic World Captivz Dominion Slime Eggs are a collection of the most ferocious dinosaurs all inside one little egg with a little SLIME too. As I'm sure you've guessed these little surprises were a big hit with my dinosaur loving girl. There are 15 to collect that include common, ultra rare and exclusive ones. You could hatch dinosaurs such as Dilophosaurus, Spinosaurus, Stiggy to Gigantosaurus, Carnotaurus and Tyrannosaurus. Those that love a collectible toy always want to hatch the ultra rare ones. They retail at £4.99 so they are great value for lots of slimy fun!

As soon as she could, my daughter opened these Jurassic World Captivz Dominion Slime Egg straight away. Inside each egg you will find metallic BioSyn Lab Slime, a Mystery Pop N Lock Dinosaur Figure, a Battle Token as well as a Collectors Guide. You can hatch and play with your new dinosaur once they hatch from their reusable plastic egg.

We were kindly send over a couple of Jurassic World Captivz Dominion Slime Eggs. Both eggs were black covered in bright yellow plastic packaging. My daughter hatched a Gigantosaurus and a Dilophosaurus each with their own token that include their battle stats as well as the metallic BioSyn Lab Slime that she had to squeeze out of a sachet.

The Jurassic World Dominion Captivz Surprise Eggs are great fun, really fascinating and full of surprises. My daughter loves getting her hands dirty to dig in the Prehistoric Sand, slice through the Amber Gel and of course get gloopy with the BioSyn Lab Slime. You can reuse most of the items that have been included in both types of eggs, just make sure you keep them in a sealed container.

The Jurassic World Dominion Captivz Eggs will be released in May, just in time for the new Jurassic film that is set to hit cinemas in June. You can find the whole range at Smyth Toys and Amazon. So all the Dinosaur fans keep your eyes peeled.
