How To Make Toilet Paper Roll Bunnies

Easter is just around the corner and if you're looking for a quick and simple craft then these toilet paper roll bunnies are perfect. You can make your bunnies as colourful as you like or you can keep them white with colour features. Each bunny will be unique and little ones will love adding their own personal touch to their own toilet paper roll bunny.

Toilet paper crafts are always fun and our love for toilet paper crafts goes a long way back. It was probably one of the first crafts we done together. We love crafting with toilet tolls and we always have a stash of them lying around somewhere in our home and they are surprisingly versatile! They are also free. We love making something creative with loo rolls, we have made Christmas characters and bunny stamps. So make sure, if you don't already save those toilet paper rolls.

But today we want to show you these really simple and easy bunnies that can be created with few supplies that you probably already have in your craft box, saving you a trip for craft supplies. This paper roll bunny craft is easy to make and is so much fun to put together. We love how each paper roll bunny can have their own style and personality.

To make these toilet roll bunnies you will need:

Toilet paper rolls
A4 white paper
sellotape
small googly eyes
pipe cleaners
small pom poms
white card stock
glue
black sharpie

1. The first task is to gently wrap a piece of A4 white paper around your toilet paper roll and stick together with some sellotape. This is going to be slightly bigger than your toilet roll so you'll need to cut to size. You can either cut this flush or cut fringes across the sides of the toilet roll and put through the ends. Show your little one how to to do this gently, leaving a distance of 1 cm between each of the cuts. This is also helping your child to learn to judge equal distances.

2. Make the bunny ears by tracing around some ears on white card stock, for our bunny ears template we actually used a cookie cutter as they were the perfect size.

3. Glue your googly eyes onto your toilet paper roll.

4. Twist three small pipe cleaners around each other and glue to the bunny roll and once that is in place it's time to give your bunny a little pom pom nose.

5. Glue the ears to the inside of the top of your toilet roll bunny and then using a sharpie draw on a mouth. It was at this step that we decided to add a little flower to one of the bunnies. We also glue two white pom poms for feet and one around the back for a tail.

So there you have it, another way to get creative with a loo roll. It is a really easy craft to do with your children over Easter and you don't even need any paint, no clear up! Winning.
