GLOSSYBOX - May 2018: Daydreamer Edition

It's GLOSSYBOX time. This is the time of month that I really look forward to, there's nothing more exciting that waiting for this beauty box to arrive. So get ready to sit back and relax with the May Glossybox Daydreamer Edition not only is this the cutest and dreamy design, there's a big focus on cruelty free beauty products. This month's beauty box has a lot of live up to because April's edition was pretty amazing including some of the biggest and best brands on the market. However, this month's glossy looks interesting and I can't wait to share what inside the box and being someone who loves a new palette I was really intrigued to try some the cute pastel shades from the Praline Palette and of course indulge in some Earl Grey tea.

If you're new to Glossybox, it's a monthly subscription box that comes packed with both full sized products that cover all areas of beauty from skin care, hair, nails, makeup and everything else in between from brands we all love to those new discoveries that we wouldn't normally get to try if it wasn't for Glossybox. Each box costs £13.25 per month and contains contents that are always over the cost of the box. In a nutshell, you get a box full of goodies all for that monthly price.

So without further ado, let's see what's in the Glossybox for May.

Trifle Cosmetics. Praline Palette. RRP | £15.55

I couldn't wait to see what this Praline palette was all about, seriously how adorable is the packaging? I adore an eye shadow palette and this looks like the perfect palette to create some beautiful spring looks. A playful palette of six pigmented, multifunctional eye shadows that can be used wet or dry. The intense, vibrant shades range from a neutral bronze to khaki, deep eggplant and the more vibrant ones. Formulated with creamy, coated micronized pigments to reduce shadow fall-out, these unique powders are hot-pressed for a strong yet velvety smooth texture. Comes complete with a large mirror and double-ended sponge applicators. However the fun doesn't stop there, this palette is 100% vegan and free from Parabens, Phthalates and mineral oils. I love the fact that this come in the cutest handbag sized palette making it handy for travel, nights out or weekends away.

Gelspa. Just for Feet, Luxury Jelly Foot Soak. RRP | £4.99

As I have always said these beauty boxes are a great way to discover new brands. This month is no different as every subscriber will receive a product that has just been launched from Gelcity. The UK leading manufacturer of Jelly Bath, Foot Soaks and the first ever Tan in a Bath. All bath and body products are that little bit different than the norm. Our feet are precious. They carry us every day and help us to maintain posture. However they also suffer the consequences of narrow or high heel shoes for the sake of beauty and can become sore and tired from standing all day, walking or running long distances. So why not give your feet some much needed TLC with these water to gel foot soak infused with lavender and lemongrass to help soothe them. The foot soak also contains gel beads to massage the feet, providing a relaxing and soothing experience. Yes please!!! I must admit, this is not something that I have ever tried before, so I am more than open to the idea of a water to gel foot soak.

KUESHI. Facial Make Up Remover. RRP | £10.50

The best make up removers for me are micellar waters but seeing as my is nearly empty this was perfect timing. The full-size Kueshi Double Effect Makeup Remover is an oil-in-water solution that you soak a cotton pad with to remove stubborn makeup. Kueshi is not a brand that I am familiar with, but it's one I am very glad that I came across, as they are a company that's dedicated to quality and fully committed to formulating products form a blend of the finest active ingredients. Even better? They select ingredients that suit even the most sensitive of skin types, and all of their formulas are cruelty free! I have used this product already and I can say that it lives up to it's claim as it get's rid of stubborn mascara and eyeliner in just one swoop!

Maria Nila. True Soft Shampoo and True Soft Conditioner RRP| £3.98 and £4.99.

I was so happy to see these in the box, as I have heard so many great things about this luxury Swedish brand. Maria Nila is not the usual hair care company. They are 100% vegan and cruelty free-certified products are developed with love for animal lovers, for nature and for hair. The shampoo is softening, strengthening and moisturising, and the conditioner is colour-protecting, frizz-reducing and deeply conditioning. The TRUE SOFT is based on argan oil, which remoisturises and revitalises dry and brittle hair. Each part comprises a shampoo, a conditioner and a treatment. Because different hair types need different kinds of treatments, each part of the range contains a special ingredient that adds unique properties, making the product perfect for your particular hair type. All products are sulphate and paraben free and made out of 100% vegan ingredients. Even after one use, the combination has left my hair feeling clean, nourished and super soft.

We are Tea. Earl Grey Supreme. RRP | £2.99 for 15 Tea Bags.

I am pretty sure that if you have been reading my blog for some time, you'll know that I have a slight obsession of tea, in all kinds of form. There's not one that I have not come across that I don't like. Hot, cold, sweet, strong! However, if you make me a milky or weak tea then we are no longer friends. Ha. But as I am writing this post I am actually indulging in the Earl Grey Supreme tea, without the toddler, meaning it's actually hot! Yay! The Earl Grey has a delicate aroma of bergamot fruit and a sprinkling of blue cornflowers, this black tea is the best way to start your morning!

In a nutshell, I didn't think that Glossybox could be anything in comparison to the April Glossybox, because most of the products were cosmetics. But this beauty box is jam packed full of dreamy products that are perfect for an indulgent night in, we could all do with more 'me' time. My personal box favourites are of course the cute eye shadow palette and the tea, one I am looking forward to trying in the foot soak, but of course I will let you know how I get on.

June Sneak Peek:

All subscribers will receive a bronzer from LARITZY Cosmetics, and seeing as it's nearly summer, this sounds like the perfect gem to add into those summer sun kissed looks.
