The Best Lip Balms For Autumn

Hello everyone,

Luckily, lip balm has come a long way from good ol' Vaseline. There is certainly no shortage when it comes to the variety of lip balms available, there are lip balms that have the most luscious scents, ones that have high SPFs and even ones that leave tints and shimmers - the choice is endless. During Autumn and Winter my lips are awful, they become dry and so I have to make sure that I have a number of lip balms around my home to make sure I keep them hydrated. So I have complied a list of my favourite lips balms that are sure to soothe dry lips that you will need in your life.

Carmex Vanilla Lip Balm* (£3.25) - This medicated lip balm goes on smooth to soothe and protect dry, chapped lips with SPF 15 and with the amazing scent of vanilla flavour. This Carmex Lip Balm provide long lasting protective barrier to help with healing which is great as a little goes a long way. It also glides on smoothly to help soften and hydrate lips with moisturising cocoa butter, that also cools whilst soothing lips with camphor ad menthol.

Benefit Lollibalm Lip Hydrator* (£14.50) Benefit can do no wrong in my eyes and this lip hydrator doesn't disappoint. These new tinted balms are the perfect partner to their beloved tint sisters. This lip balm conditions and hydrates lips thanks to mango butter and jojoba, while leaving behind a sheer pink hue. It glides on very well, has such a lovely floral scent, and is a soft and shimmery light pink colour. You need one of these in life!

Nivea Fruity Shine Watermelon* (£1.99 - ON OFFER FOR 99p) I'm loving anything that contains watermelon at the moment so when my husband came home with this lip balm the other day I was more than happy, he earned a few husband points and he came with chocolate too. Anyway, delight your lips with a delicious fruity fresh Watermelon aroma and fabulous shine that also leaves a tint of colour on your lips. This is great if you want soft and smooth lips as it's super hydrating and moisturising. You can't really complain as you can pick it up for less than a £1!

EOS Organic Lip Balm Sphere - Sweet Mint (£2.49) I absolutely love the unconventional shape of the EOS' spherical lip balms because they are so much easier to locate in the bottomless handbag full of the truck load of toddler things I need to carry around with me. I first fell in love with  EOS lip balms whilst I was pregnant and had awful chapped lips up until the point of having my daughter and these lip balms were my saviour. When I saw this Organic Lip Balm in sweet mint I had to say yes, really. This balm is packed with antioxidant-rich vitamins , soothing Shea butter and jojoba oil. EOS balms are know for keeping your lips moist, soft and super smooth.
Burt's Bees Pink Grapefruit Lip Balm* (£4.00) Your lips are in for a sweet surprise with this not-so-basic balm from Burt's Bees. Infused with pink grapefruit seed oil, the flavourful formula works in condition with skin with a citrus twist. I can't get over the smell it's that good I want to eat, but I won't obvs - that would be a waste.

Body Shop Coconut Lip Butter* (£4.00) This coconut lip butter is perfect for your lips during the colder months and a luscious treat for your lips as it nourishes and keep those smackers moisturised leaving a lovely sheen on them. This butter is so soft and has a very thick consistency so a little goes a long way.  I have been using this one for a few weeks now and I can already tell you that my lips are super soft and subtle.

There you have it everyone the best lip balms that you need in your life for Autumn. Do you have any favourite lip balms, if so what are they?
