The 'Girly Cute' Easter Basket for 2026

Easter baskets evolve as our children grow, and there's something magical about curating one for that in‑between age. They're not quite little kids anymore, but they're definitely not ready to let go of all the fun traditions either.

You can absolutely keep the magic alive, just in a more grown up thoughtful way. It was important to pull together a mixture of creative, cosy and cute vibes that feel just right for an 11-year-old girl. So, here's how we created the perfect Easter basket for a tween girl who loves skincare, cute collectibles, and all things pink.

First up, let's talk about this adorable Jellycat Blossom Blush Cherry Bunny. This is the perfect gift that instantly add a charm to any Easter basket. There is something so timeless about those floppy ears, velvety fur, and sweet little face that makes it feel like more than just a soft toy. My daughter has been heavily hinting that she wants to get on the Jellycat train, but really tries to downplay her wanting one, honestly it is the sweetest.

And of course, whatever we chose had to be pink. So when we spotted the Jellycat Blossom Blush Cherry Bunny, we were instantly sold. Whether it becomes her new bedtime companion or a treasured keepsake on her shelf, this Jellycat bunny is sure to bring a little extra smile to her face.

To keep with the theme, we added a handful of pretty pastel essentials. We picked up some floral scrunchies, a pastel pink flower claw clip and some pink hairbands. Spring themed socks were another must and we managed to get some of the cutest pink bow trainer socks for £4. And to round out the pastel moment, we included some journaling bits with pens, washi tapes, and plenty of stickers.

Next up, because our girl is just starting to dip her toes into skincare we thought it would be a good chance to add a couple of gentle products in her basket. Skincare for an 11‑year‑old is honestly a minefield. We want to give her things that feel special without overwhelming her young skin with ingredients she doesn’t need. That’s why we chose the e.l.f. SKIN Hydrated Ever After Skincare Mini Kit that includes their Holy Hydration favourites.

A bottle of Sol de Janeiro adds a burst of sunshine to any Easter basket, bringing that warm, feel good feeling into spring. Cheirosa 68 is my daughter's favourite due to its airy blend of Brazilian jasmine, pink dragonfruit, and sheer vanilla. It’s the kind of surprise that makes an Easter basket feel very girly and a little bit lovely. My daughter loves Miniso, so during our little shopping trip into the city centre we picked up a few bits that felt just right for her girly, cute Easter basket. I decided to play it safe with something I knew she’d love. We spotted the My Melody Lip Gloss, simple and adorable, and it fits her Easter theme perfectly.

We’re very much a craft‑loving family, so it wouldn’t feel right to skip the creative bits this year. Although, let’s be honest daughter isn’t exactly a cross‑stitch enthusiast. A couple of years ago my sister‑in‑law bought her a sausage dog bookmark kit, and she managed one line before abandoning it completely. So yes, this next idea might go down like a lead balloon. When we spotted the Molly the Octopus Pouch Pals crochet kit from The Knitty Critters Collection in TK Maxx, it felt like the perfect little project she could take at her own pace.

No Easter basket feels complete without a few sweet treats tucked in between the gifts. Whether it’s classic chocolate eggs, marshmallow lollipop, or a handful of cute themed gummies. They’re the first things kids spot when they peek inside, and the perfect fuel for a cosy weekend of crafting, playing, and family time. This Candy Realms Spring mix which is an assortment of fruit flavour jelly sweets, sour coated jelly, and twisted marshmallows with a fruit flavour jelly filling.

Easter baskets for tweens don’t need to be complicated they just need to feel thoughtful. At 11, she’s balancing childhood magic with growing independence, and a beautifully curated basket can celebrate both. Whether you lean into crafts, cosy treats, or gentle self‑care, the goal is to get egg-cited for Easter.

Hoppy Easter Friends!
