The Festive Season is Upon Us...

Nothing kickstarts the festive season like a traditional Christmas market. With cluster of stalls brimming with gifts adorned with fairy lights and subtle scents of cinnamon across a crisp breeze. A cute Christmas market set in an idyllic festive scene is sure to get you in the Christmas spirit.

Think indulgent mugs of hot chocolate piled high with marshmallows or a warming glass of mulled wine as you spread festive cheer with friends and family. Yes, please. The Norfolk Festive Gift Show is one of the regions largest shopping experiences, complete with seasonal food and drink. So, of course we bought tickets as soon as we could.

The Norfolk Festive Gift Show was bustling with stalls filled with gift ideas, delicious food and drink, home décor and handcrafted items. There was even a building designated for the finest artisan food, distillers and handmade pet treats that all used fresh local ingredients. Throughout the event, you were able to sample some of the homemade produce and locally brewed beverages that were displayed.

As soon as you walked through the gates you were immediately hit with the sweet smell of mulled wines, the playful sound of Christmas music, and the festive decorations all around made it a wonderful place to wander around in the run up to Christmas,

These adorable stalls were filled with wonderful gift ideas for individuals who are looking for something unique, who love their garden, or who desire something sentimental, like personalised cushions, tea towels or even advent calendars - all personalised before your very eyes. Further along, we came across food and drink trucks selling burgers, hotdogs, Yorkshire pudding wraps, and hot sugary doughnuts and fresh crepes. Not forgetting that warm hot chocolates, a mulled cider and festive coffees were also available.

We couldn't wait to head to the building filled with fresh pastries, cookies, cheese, home brewed rum and liquor. As well as stalls with bespoke jewellery, books, wooden décor, art, handmade decorations as well as Turkish delights, fudge, sweets and a pick n mix olives. The samples gave us the opportunity to test out which foods we liked and didn't like - this was ideal for our fussy eater daughter.

We came home with a basket full of food as well as a few stocking fillers and gifts for friends and family. So, whether  you’re searching for unique gifts, sampling mulled wine beneath twinkling lights, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, the Norfolk Festive Gift Show offers something truly special.
