Maché Magic with a Simple Twist and Press

Making things, drawing, painting, creating, and crafting are always fun ways to keep children occupied. Our household loves crafting, and my daughter is always seeking new ways to create something exciting.

Paper mache (or papier mache) is such a simple craft. Not only is it simple to do, it is incredibly versatile and inexpensive to make. You may be surprised by how what you can achieve using basic paper mache recipes and techniques. The possibilities of papier mâché are endless once you master building basic forms from balloons, bottles and other things you can find in the recycling bin.

However, imagine all the fun you can have with paper mache, but without the mess? Well now you can with this new Twist and Press Maché Magic. It certainly is...magic!!!

Maché Magic is the fun and easy way to make your own paper-maché crafts! Use toilet paper and water to create unique paper mache gifts. Using no messy paste and no batteries, children can create their own masterpieces! It comes with everything you need to create and decorate, plus you can add your own decorations too! If you want to make a gift for your family and friends to unbox, or if you want to make something unique for yourself, get creative!

It's easy to create Maché Magic with just a simple twist and press.

With the Mache Magic kit, children can create their own trinkets that are so simple and easy to to. Designed for children ages 6 and up, the kit includes a twist-and-press Mache Magic machine, two molds (one oval-shaped, one heart-shaped), two corresponding drainage trays for the molds, a water tray, a measuring spoon, sticker sheets and glitter glue pens. My daughter couldn't wait to get started.

It was so simple to get started and there were plenty of decorating options that make it easy to create custom trinkets for family and friends. Seeing as Christmas is just around the corner, what better way to make someone feel special than making them their very own little trinket to keep forever.

As well as making trinkets for loved ones, my daughter made some cool Christmas decorations that we could pop on our tree. But the Maché Magic doesn't have to just stop there. It could be fun to make hearts for Valentine's Day hearts or some egg trinkets for Easter.

The Maché Magic is available from Smyths Toys, and Amazon. Each one retails at £14.99 and will bring hours of fun for all the family. You can be keep it simple with felt tip pens, add a little sparkle with the glitter glue pens or go one step further and get creative with tin foil or other material you have laying around. The possibilities are endless.

  1. That sounds so lovely. I do like arts and craft products as my kids enjoy using them. The moulds are great shapes and I love you don't need paste or batteries.
