KNDR. Eyeshadow Cream in Motivated Mauve RRP| £18
Cream Eyeshadow can be used to create a subtle, daytime look or something more intense and glamorous. However, its creamy texture makes it more prone to creasing on your lids, so it’s important to use an eye primer prior to application, and never layer it over powder. This KNDR eyeshadow cream has an intense pigment that is super easy to build. This crease-proof formula glides on smoothly with a brush or the tip of your finger. Its available in Motivated Mauve, Proud Pink, and Confident Copper which are all versatile shades that can be used for a subtle day time look or a sultry evening look. I received Motivated Mauve and yes the cream was lovely but the colour for me wasn't right. It was far too dark for my complexion and made me look washed out, so if I did get another colour I would have the Proud Pink or Confident Copper.
ARROW. Pink Nourishing Lip Oil. RRP | £13
I love and appreciate a nice glossy lip. Whether it's natural, bold or subtle, there's something about a high sheen finish that it stunning and timeless. However, as much as we love a nice gloss there are always some things like the stickiness and having to reapply all the time. A lip oil may just be the answer to this. Not quite a lip balm and not quite a gloss; a combination of all your best go to all in one swipe.
Now Birchbox have lauched their very own clean and vegan beauty line that was created to help simplify routines, something that I can totally get behind. This ARROW Pink Nourishing Lip Oil adds moisture to your lips and actually locks it in with a blend of aloe, coconut oil, & shea butter. The pink shade gives lips a subtle pink tint by reacting to the pH level of your skin.
Naobay. Detox Illuminating Micellar Water. RRP | £16
As always, new products come through my door just as I run out. Perfect. The Naobay Detox Illuminating Micellar Water removes excess sebum and make-up on all skin types. It includes a great mixture of ingredients with sage and aloe vera deliver moisture and soothe the skin while lemon lends the complexion an even finish. Raspberry and green tea, that shield the skin against harmful environmental influences, to complete the formula. This product is amazing! It doesn't burn my eyes, it smells great and it takes off my make up quickly. It doesn't leave a sticky feeling on my face afterwards. Love it!!!
Birchbox. Crystal Nail File. RRP | £15
While a nail file might seem like a simple purchase. You have to first choose the right type for your nails and the proper abrasive, grit, and other features to make sure you wind up with the perfect manicure. I have always gravitated towards a crystal nail file so I was really happy to see this one from Birchbox inside. Its double sided ultra fine finish that helps create a smooth edge without tearing or chipping the nails. The pointed tip is really handy to shape around cuticles.
John Frieda. Frizz Ease Weightless Wonder Featherlight Smoothing Crème. RRP | £7
John Frieda has always been a brand that I have used with my frizzy Barnet, for me it has been the brand that help battle the frizz without leaving a heavy residue or making my hair greasy. The John Frieda Frizz Ease Weightless Wonder Crème is transforming frizzy, fine hair to weightlessly smooth. It distributes evenly throughout the hair, leaving no heavy product build up, just soft, smooth results. Suitable for use on both wet & dry hair. I have used this smoothing Crème before and used it to create a frizz-free look when styling.
Well, this box is jam packed full of goodies to encourage me to be authentic and never compare myself to other which is something we all should do more of. At first I didn't really understand the message behind the box but it definitely encouraged me to take more time for me and to try new things. There are a few products in this box that I would actually purchase again like the Naobay Detox Illuminating Micellar Water and the ARROW Pink Nourishing Lip Oil.
