GLOSSYBOX - November 2018: Beauty SOS

It's November and that means it's officially birthday month, and yes it's totally a thing. I love November and especially as this month's gorgeous beauty treat from GLOSSYBOX and their Beauty SOS box. This month's box is jam packed full of must have essentials that come to your rescue, and this time of year my skin suffers badly trying to battle the elements. This month even includes something a little extra so you can smell absolutely gorgeous for party season. This little box will most definitely come to your rescue if you have a night out, a Christmas work party or you need a boost in the morning, GLOSSYBOX have you covered. This month there is two full sized products from Huda Beauty and Stylondon Beauty and a few cute deluxe minis too.

If you're new to Glossybox, it's a monthly subscription box that comes packed with both full sized products that cover all areas of beauty from skin care, hair, nails, makeup and everything else in between from brands we all love to those new discoveries that we wouldn't normally get to try if it wasn't for Glossybox. Each box costs £13.25 per month and contains contents that are always over the cost of the box. In a nutshell, you get a box full of goodies all for that monthly price.

Huda Beauty. Liquid Matte Lipstick in Girlfriend. RRP | £18

Huda Beauty’s Liquid Matte lipstick collection are among the most sought-after liquid lipsticks because of their high quality, amazing shade range, and affordability. You can trust Huda Kattan’s taste and expertise on this one, so you know you’re getting your money’s worth. So to see this in my box made me squeal a little as it's completely gorgeous! The lightweight formula glides on a thin coat of color that intensifies as it sets to a matte, transfer-free finish with amazing staying power. This shade 'Girlfriend' is the prettiest nude I've yet to find and it doesn't wash me out at all, so for all you ladies looking for that perfect, subtle nude shade, go and try it out.

Context. Micro-Derm Regenerator. RRP | £27

A two-in-one cleanser and gentle exfoliator enhanced with the same crystals used in professional microdermabrasion treatments. Soothes and purifies skin as it effectively cleanses. Polishes and removes dead skin cells. Powerful antioxidants combine to protect cells and fight free radical damage. Plus, it’s in a handy 30ml bottle that fits perfectly in your handbag to use every morning, no matter where the night takes you. I would probably recommended applying it once a day by gently massaging the gel onto your wet skin, by using slow circular motions to lather the exfoliating particles deeper into your skin – it’ll polish and remove any dull and dry cells. When you’re done exfoliating, rinse thoroughly with warm water. You can then apply moisturiser. It's been a lovely addition to my skincare routine.

STYLondon. Eaton Eyeshadow Palette. RRP | £10

OMG! This is the cutest palette and what gorgeous shades! Perfect for party season. You have nine high quality shades in this palette which include 6 metallics and 3 mattes. The shades are highly pigmented and blend really well on me. I love the red and bronze metallic shades most. This is a nice sized palette for a purse of make-up bag too. The eye shadows are mineral based, paraben free, animal cruelty free, high pigment, eyeshadow palettes with added Vitamin E. These shades are super soft, easily blend-able powder and you can create some of the cutest autumnal and Christmas looks.

Your Good Skin. Balancing Skin Concentrate. RRP | £17

Restores & maintains skin's natural balance. This little gem has been designed to improve the five signs of healthy looking skin; skin texture, skin tone evenness, radiance, moisture levels & oiliness. Simply use two pumps into the palm of your hand and dot across your cheeks, chin and forehead then gently blend together. You only need a couple of pumps to cover your full face so this bottle will last over another couple of uses. After using it morning and night for a week I started noticing my skin feeling softer and looking brighter. The laughter lines and fine wrinkles around my eyes started smoothing over and my large pores were less noticeable.

Living Proof. Restore Mask Treatment. RRP | £10

My hair really struggles in the colder weather, anyone else? Seeing as it's birthday month just means I have a few excuses for a mask treatment or two. I will enjoy pulling that birthday card a few nights a week. This deeply conditioning mask treatment repairs dry, damaged hair by nourishing each strand, leaving hair visibly healthier, stronger, and shinier. This is 100% the best hair mask I have ever used. This hair mask stopped breakage, moisturised my hair so it was no longer brittle and dry. Holy grail of hair products! I will try and use this hair mask once a week to get my hair in a healthy condition again.

Chloé Nomade. RRP | £47

I adore everything from Chloé, the Chloé Eau de Parfum is one of my favourites. This one is like nothing actually own. A combination of oak moss and freesia that captures the spirit of a woman open to the beauty world. I love it! It smells fresh and light. Not too overpowering and perfect for day wear in the office or on a weekend patio. It would be a lovely alternative to my normal scents especially when I feel like mixing it up.
