Sheet masks are having more than just a moment right now. While they might have been around for years it's not something that many of us always make time for, however more and more celebrities are getting behind the trend with their sheet mask selfies. It’s no surprise that some brands have introduced floral and panda-face designs in an attempt to make them more visually appealing. The growing appreciation of K-beauty (Korean-inspired) has encourage to take more steps in our beauty routines. To say that I am obsessed with the current trends is an understatement. This year I have had an overhaul in my skincare routine and implemented more steps from the K-beauty routine to try and get flawless skin. I have had a big shake up in my morning routine and started to add more steps in my evening routine, one that has become my favourite is the sheet mask.
But for those who are not familiar with sheet masks, you really need to get familiar. They are a game changer for a great skincare routine. These wonder masks hydrate, soothe and smooth the skin using fresh, raw and all-natural ingredients. Being a parent to a feisty four year old, you could say that I am prone to late nights a few times a week, so using a sheet mask can made such a difference. I haven't been feeling very well this week, so what better way to make myself feel better than with a hot bubble bath, candles, tea and a good sheet mask. You basically start off your little facial by massaging the pouch to activate the ingredients, ensuring that you get the most from your sheet mask. Remove the mask from the packaging. The mask itself will be black in colour and be very wet, so make sure you try and unfold the mask carefully so you get all the goodness on your face and not on the dressing table. Place the mask over your face using the eye holes and mouth hole as a guide, this is always the odd part, wear your mask for at least ten minutes so the mask can fully foam. While the foaming process does it's thing I gave my face a little massage spreading the contents on my forehead and chin too. After ten minutes, simply remove the mask and rinse off with warm water.
What can I say about this mask - Amazing!! Lately I have become somewhat obsessed with sheet masks, however a foaming sheet mask is something completely new to me and I have not seen something like this from any other beauty brand out there. I couldn't wait to try this and at first it did feel kind of strange when it began to foam on my face but it left me with beautiful, clean, radiant skin afterwards. The quality of the mask is shown by the results from the foam of the mask as it did not slide on my face and it kept foaming. For anyone out there who wants to try a sheet mask I would say for the great price, quality of the sheet mask itself and the great ingredients - This one is for you.
