GLOSSYBOX: Vegan Limited Edition

It's Glossybox time. Not the usual monthly feature but a pretty special limited edition. Now if their last special edition box with Karl Lagerfeld and Model Co. was anything to go by you're in for a very special treat. The Vegan Limited Edition Box has been designed as an introduction to Vegan products, meaning that everything within this box does not contain any animal products, any animal by-products or any animal derivatives. And I have to say that this box is pretty impressive. When it comes to the whole idea of being vegan or becoming began there is quite a bit of coverage and that's become quite a popular trend. As time goes on, we are all beginning to learn more about going vegan, not only from food but also in the beauty world and even some clothing lines. The beauty world has seen a rise in vegan brands and if I am honest I love some of these brands already. So for GLOSSYBOX to put together such a box is exciting and there are so many brands in this little box that I have never come across. This bulky GLOSSYBOX is jam packed full of ten, yes ten vegan goodies that totals up to the value of £80, so let's see what's inside shall we?

Kat Von D. Tattoo Liner Deluxe Mini in Black. | RRP £17

Like seriously? A Kat Von D product in a GLOSSYBOX, yes please. I am more than familiar with Kat Von D and her makeup brand which is amazing by the way. You may have seen that she has been in the media a bit a the moment with her stance on the whole not vaccinating her new baby, and she has been receiving a lot of backlash from it. However, whether you agree or not one thing I am sure that we can agree on is that this lady know a thing or two about liners. Are you one of those who struggle to achieve eye perfection when it comes to eye liner? I always have an amazing looking liner on one eye and the other eye looks like I have had gone ten rounds with a panda bear. So achieving eye perfection on both lids is like a dream and I know that with this high-pigment waterproof liquid liner that stays put all day. The superfine and flexible brush tip glides across the lashline like a dream.

Tropic Skincare. Lip Fudge Plumping Lip Conditioner in Rosewood. | RRP £12

The words lip fudge just sound amazing don't they? I couldn't wait to try this one and as soon as I opened the lip conditioner I was immediately hit with a hint of mind and vanilla scent. This lip fudge is loaded with plant extracts, actually there's 26 lip-loving plant extracts. Sea fern and omegas 6 and 9 help to plump and smooth fine lines. Açaí sterols and wheat cerasomes are super-softening and conditioning on lips. Mango wax and vitamins C and E contain repairing and protective properties. I must admit I have already used it a couple of times so I can't really say whether it's made my lip plump, however whenever I apply the lip conditioner to my lips they leave them feeling nourished and super tingly.

Maria Nila. Head & Hair Heal Masque. | RRP £28

I am actually familiar wiith Maria Nila and their TRUE SOFT products. Maria Nila is not the usual hair care company. They are 100% vegan and cruelty free-certified products are developed with love for animal lovers, for nature and for hair. I was completely obsessed with the TRUE SOFT range as the shampoo is softening, strengthening and moisturising, and the conditioner is colour-protecting, frizz-reducing and deeply conditioning. So I was more than happy to see this masque in my GLOSSYBOX as it contains a blend of gentle ingredients to promote a healthy scalp and stronger healthier hair. Perfect for putting an end to unhappy hair and sensitive scalps and prevents both dandruff and itchy scalps whilst strengthening the hair and stimulating it's growth. I have to say I have a love hate relationship with my hair and it's not in the best condition and no matter what products I use nothing seem to nourish it.  So I have high hopes for this little Masque.

Weleda. Birch Cellulite Oil Deluxe Mini. RRP | £27

Cellulite develops naturally – but that doesn’t mean you have to keep it! I am up for anything to keep that orange peel bottom away. This Birch Cellulite Oil is a completely natural treatment for cellulite using precious plant ingredients that's been formulated to firm, smooth and tone your skin. This wonder oil is jam packed full of extracts from organically grown young birch leaves, rosemary and butcher’s broom and blended with active carrier oils, including vitamin rich wheatgerm and jojoba. With this oil it's recommended that you should use it twice a day for four weeks and then daily afterwards for the best results.

Original Source. Lemon and Lime Foaming Shower Gel. RRP | £3

I love Original Source and my favourite shower gel is their creamy vanilla and raspberry, so I was really excited to see this in my box. I am ready to unleash the foam with this new Original Source Lemon & Lime foaming shower gel, I am more than sure that this will be perfect shower gel for summer. Every bottle guarantees up to 35 intensely rich creamy showers. Not bad for £3 eh?

Dr Organics. Vitamin E Super Hydrating Cream. RRP | £8.45

I have never come across Dr Organics before so I was really looking forward to trying this, however I am not new to Vitamin E cream as I am completely obsessed with The Body Shop and their Vitamin E range. So this Vitamin E Super Hydrating Cream will be a little treat for me because it's packed with Vitamin E, Aloe Vera, Shea and Cocoa Butter, Sweet Almond oil. An all rounder. This wonderful cream is a rich absorbent moisturiser, developed to penetrate deep into the skin layers, instantly hydrating and restoring the natural structure, leaving the skin radiant, rejuvenated and intensely moisturised. I really like how light this cream feels but provides good moisture to my skin, I often get dry skin around my nose and love how this moisturiser feels. I have acne prone skin but this moisturiser doesn't give me breakouts.

Noughty Haircare. Noughty To the Rescue Anti-Frizz Serum. | RRP £8.99

Again this is what I love about these beauty boxes, discovering new brands that I would normally think of trying, and as a girl who is prone to a little frizz especially during the summer. Think Monica Geller off friends when she goes to Barbados. Yep that's pretty much me all summer. So taming the mane is something that I have to battle with on a daily basis. This serum smoothes, hydrates and helps prevent frizz with special combination of ingredients creating a special and natural anti-frizz serum. Packed full of argan oil, sweet almond & much more. I actually love the smell of this product and I started off by using a small amount and noticed a significant reduction in frizz compared to what my hair usually has. My hair is long overdue for a deep condition but I think it looks pretty good with this serum.

So Eco. Eye Shading Brush. | RRP £5

I'm obsessed with makeup brushes and so I was really happy to see this in the box. Developed to apply both liquid and powder eyeshadows, and is has been made from sustainable bamboo with a recycled aluminium and cruelty-free bristles. The hand-cut head has been specially shaped to ensure flawless application and finish, while the coloured tip allows you to see the amount of product on the brush. I really love the feel of this brush on my lids, it's super soft and silky.

Tints of Nature. Hydrate Shampoo Deluxe Mini. | RRP £6.99 (for full size)

Hydrate Shampoo is part of the vegan friendly care range from Tints of Nature. It uses certified organic aloe and natural extracts of black oat and lecithin to gently cleanse and moisturise your hair. It is also pH balanced, free from damaging salts and sulphates and it has a really subtle sweet berry scent to it. I Absolutely love this product, it made my hair feel incredibly soft and shiny without causing any horrible build up. It has a beautiful smell and I love the natural ingredients. Feels like a really great quality shampoo.

Pure Chimp. Matcha Green Tea. | RRP £4.95

Now I am a tea girl, but never tried anything like this before. This Pure Chimp Matcha Green Tea is made from specially grown matcha green tea leaves, and is jam packed full of antioxidants which are said to boost your metabolism and improve your concentration! Hell, I need some that!

Guess what? We are done. What an epic box right? I do have to say that this little box has opened up my eyes to whole vegan world and when it comes to trying new products I will make some better choices that are naturally based or vegan.
