Harry Potter Magical Capsules

To say that the Harry Potter series is popular would be putting it mildly. The books and movies are a worldwide pop culture phenomenon and nothing has caused such a craze as Harry Potter. We introduced the wizarding world to our daughter a little while ago and she has been captivated with the books and films ever since. Wands, spells, incantations, chocolate frogs. How fun is the wizarding world? So as you can imagine my little Potterhead will jumped at the chance to play with a little magic.

These new Harry Potter Magical Capsules are a brand new way to unbox the magic with enchanted creatures and characters from the wonderful wizarding world. Let's just say that these capsules are a big hit with our Harry Potter obsessed girl - its not hard to see why she loves them so much.

We really loved the design and colour of the capsule and the attention to detail with the Hogwarts crest is so good. Each crest has three doors full of lots of surprises. There are 10 Hogwarts inspired characters to collect including Hermione Granger, Ronald Weasley, Professor Snape, Luna Lovegood and of course Harry Potter all coming with their own accessories and a collectors card.

Inside the bronze crest you will discover 7 magical surprises hidden behind the three chambers where you will have to use heat and water reveal mechanisms to unlock the hidden character within the secret chamber. It is pretty exciting, and not something we have ever seen before in a toy! Some of the surprises in the capsule are individually wrapped in a Hogwarts letter print which really added to the magic.

Open chamber number one to reveal a Hogwarts crest that had a heat reveal mechanism where my daughter simply placed her finger on the back for a minute or so to reveal the house colour. Now forever a little Hufflepuff she was a little disappointed that she didn't get those house colours, but was still excited to see a vibrant red and glad to know that our character was in Gryffindor.

Behind chamber number two was a secret spell name written in secret ink and will only be revealed when you dip the paper in water. So as you can expect my daughter was only too eager to see which spell she had. We filled a small cup with water and dip our spell to reveal 'alohomora' and for you Harry Potter fans I'm sure it won't take you too long to guess who our character is!

Inside chamber number three was 4 individually wrapped surprises and of course she wanted to open the biggest first but I told her to leave that one until last. But the other surprises revealed a ginger cat (I'm sure I don't need to tell you that we definitely figured out who our character was), a wand, a quill and a spell book. Finally, the moment of truth! The biggest surprise was of course our character - and if you haven't guess by now we had Hermione Granger!!!

Hermione is my daughters favourite character and is always her first choice for dress up or world book day. So as you can see from her face she was so happy and excited that she had Hermione and I must admit I was glad she got her favourite character. Seems pretty fitting as she dressed up for the big reveal before unboxing her capsule.

These Harry Potter Magical Capsules are only £9.99 which is pretty reasonable for all special surprises you get inside them.
